Abstract | Valores de reflectância espectral obtidos a partir de dados do sensor TM/Landsat-5 e de dados simulados do sensor HIRIS foram utilizados para gerar modelos empíricos para a estimativa de variáveis limnológicas. As amostras de agua coletadas simultaneamente as medições radiométricas de campo e orbital foram analisadas em laboratório para determinação das concentrações das variáveis limnologicasoticamente ativas. Os modelos empíricos obtidos através das analises de regressão linear múltipla "stepwise" indicaram que os melhores resultados foram obtidos a partir dos dados simulados do sensor HIRIS, devido principalmente a localização e resolução espectral das bandas selecionadas. Os modelos obtidos a partir dos dados TM/Landsat-5 apresentaram melhores resultados quando estes são submetidos a correção dos efeitos aditivos da atmosfera. Dentre as variáveis oticamente ativas estudadas (Total de Sedimento em Suspensão - TSS, Material Inorgânico em Suspensão - MI, Material Organico em Suspensão - MO, Clorofila Total - CLTOT e profundidade de desaparecimento do disco de Secchi-Secchi), a clorofila total só foi possível de ser modelada, a partir dos dados simulados do sensor HIRIS, através da razão de bandas 680 por 660 nm. Estas bandas correspondem respectivamente ao pico de fluorescência e absorção da clorofila. ABSTRACT: Reflectance values obtained from TM/Landsat-5 data and HIRIS simulated data were used to obtain empirical models to retrieve water components concentrations. Water samples were collected concurrently to the orbital and field radiometric measurement. The concentration of optically active components were determined. The empirical models were obtained from stepwise analyses regression. The best results were obtained from HIRIS simulated data, showing that high spectral resolution reflectance and the band position can improve the accuracy of the remote sensing models. Atmospheric correction of TM/Landsat-5 data improve the accuracy of the models. Chlorophyll concentrations was estimated only with simulated HIRIS data since the ratio 680/660nm enhances the chlorophyll fluorescence and absorption. |
